Store your kayaks on your dock or pier with the space-efficient Chesapeake Kayak Dock Storage Rack. With adjustable levels, it holds most kayaks, including recreational, whitewater, tandem, and fishing kayaks. It also holds paddleboards and some canoes. This rack keeps your watercraft ready for adventure and right where you need them—by the water.

Space-Saving:
The dock rack saves you dock space by storing your kayaks over the water. This preserves walking space on your dock and provides storage that doesn’t take up space itself. The rack requires 13" of dock space—the remaining 26" length is suspended over the water.

Adjustable:
The arms easily adjust to fit watercraft of different sizes, from thin SUPs to wide fishing kayaks. Use the quick-pull pins to customize the setup quickly—no tools needed.

Outdoor-Ready:
The Chesapeake Dock Rack features a weather-resistant powder coating to hold up against the elements. It includes stainless steel hardware for resistance to rust and corrosion. Engineered for freshwater environments.

Anchor Points:
Each arm has a built-in anchor loop for securing gear. Use bungee cords or cable locking systems (not included) to stabilize your gear and protect against wind and theft.

Flexible Setup:
Customize the width of the rack between 41"-71" using the adjustable crossbar. The included hardware is designed specifically for wood docks. For other dock types, please consult the manufacturer to determine the most suitable hardware for installation.

Heavy-Duty:
The dock rack is made from industrial-grade steel and aluminum for premium storage that’s built to last. It supports up to 400 lbs with each level holding up to 100 lbs.

Is the padding of the arm waterproof?

We have updated the design of the padding to include the weather-resistant rubberized foam, which will hold up much better to exposure to the natural elements, unlike the old nylon-foam pads, which deteriorated over time.
It's designed to be highly resistant to water from rain and weather and can also withstand outdoor conditions, including exposure to moisture.

Can you mount this to a floating dock?

While some customers have successfully mounted and used this system on floating docks, we cannot guarantee its stability if there are significant fluctuations in water levels or movement of the dock. Please note that the included mounting hardware is designed specifically for wood.

Is it rust-proof?

This rack is not recommended for saltwater environments. The arms, mounting brackets, and hardware are made of powder-coated steel, which provides resistance to rust and corrosion in regular outdoor conditions but will still corrode over time when exposed to saltwater.
